A waitress in Texas is now experiencing viral fame – and for one of the best reasons possible. Kayla Lane has been waiting tables at the West Side Cafe in Fort Worth for years, and she has come to know two regular customers Shaun and Debbie Riddle.
One day they came in and she noticed they didn’t have their baby with them. She inquired why and the heartbroken couple told her that their 9 month old had passed away.
CBS News reported that at the end of the couple’s meal, the waitress slipped them a receipt with a simple message.
“Your ticket has been paid for. We are terribly sorry for your loss. God Bless. – The West Side.”
